This was Charlotte’s first!
And Cameron’s first as a walking talking toddler.
Both girls were tigers! Rawr!
We knew that we wouldn’t be able to do a whole lot this year since we had a 5 week old baby but we at least wanted to get Cam to a pumpkin patch and let her experience a small bit of trick or treating.
We are lucky enough to live in a neighborhood that really caters to small children and is very safe for trick or treating. There are a lot of families with little kids.
We had every intention of going to a really great pumpkin patch down the road from us. It’s located at a church. When we got there on the one day we were free to go they had a fall festival going on. And we realized once we arrived that Cameron didn’t have shoes on. So we turned around and headed back home and then out again to a different one (and a much smaller one) that was 5 minutes away. Cameron & Charlotte were in near melt down mode by this point so needless to say, our pumpkin patch pictures didn’t turn out as well as we had hoped.
But here they are!
The littlest tiger.
Momma and the babies.
It was a bit bright out.
Daddy and his cubs.
Oops! This tiger seems to have encountered high water!
Looks like someone hit a growth spurt since I purchased this in late August.
Cameron usually loves to hold Charlotte but wasn’t thrilled about it at this particular moment.
She’s been funny about pictures lately. Camera shy. Refuses to smile for the camera.
Playing with her favorite “hat” before trick or treating.
We’ve become good friends with our next door neighbors. Their little boy is 3 months older than Charlotte. We hung out and passed out candy with them after going to a few houses.
Cameron was a bit timid at first about getting candy from peoples houses… until she realized how much she liked candy. We let her try a few pieces. And then she wanted to keep eating it all night.
She enjoyed seeing all the other children dressed up. We didn’t stay out too long because it started to get cool and the kiddos were ready for bed but we had a great time and cant wait to do this next year with two toddlers!!!
