Mother’s Day

Happy (belated) Mother’s Day to all you moms out there. I hope that you each had a very special day with your family.

We had a great time on my very first Mother’s Day. Brian made sure it was very special for me. We started the day with breakfast at Denny’s (Brian had been planning this for a while. Cameron was nice enough to let us enjoy our meal without any fussing. Lately she’s been mesmerized by watching people eat.

…and then we drove to Houston to visit with family. First we stopped at my grandparents’ house. The little girl was quite the center of attention.

Family pics in the back yard. I’ve wanted this one for a while. Cameron with her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. (Getting Cameron to pose for the pics didn’t go so well ) I’m so thankful for my mom and grandma. I love you both so much!

Thought this was a great picture of my grandparents. They are both so special to me.

And our happy lil’ family. It was bright out sorry about the squinting. Thanks for making my first Mother’s Day so special Brian.

And we can’t leave out Auntie Tay and Uncle Forrest. I can’t call them my little brother and sister anymore apparently. They are both way taller than me now! My dad was behind the camera as usual. Thanks Dad!

After visiting with my family, we went to Brian’s mom’s house to spend time with her and then went out to a nice dinner. We love to visit with our families and are so grateful to have them in our lives. Happy Mother’s Day to our moms and grandmas!
